Terms of Service
Effective Date: September 16, 2026Welcome to Rattan Verma Web Development. By accessing our website or engaging our software company for IT services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before starting a project with us.
1. Scope of Services
We specialize in enterprise-grade software engineering, web development, UI/UX design, IT infrastructure setup, and digital automation. The specific details, timelines, deliverables, and cost of your project will be formally outlined in a separate Statement of Work (SOW) or project proposal.
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure smooth and timely delivery, the client agrees to:
- Provide all necessary assets (logos, branding guidelines, content, API access) promptly.
- Review project milestones and provide feedback within the agreed-upon timeframe.
- Understand that delays on the client's end will result in corresponding extensions to the project timeline.
3. Payment & Billing Terms
All projects require an upfront deposit (usually 30% to 50%) before any development work begins, unless stated otherwise in the SOW. The remaining balance is tied to project milestones or final deployment. All invoices are due within 15 days of issuance. Late payments may result in a temporary pause on development.
4. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership
Upon receipt of full and final payment, the intellectual property rights to the custom source code, designs, and digital assets created specifically for your project will be transferred to you. However, we retain the right to reuse open-source libraries, generic code snippets, and our proprietary backend frameworks used to build the software.
We also reserve the right to feature the completed, non-confidential project in our portfolio and marketing materials.
5. Maintenance, Support & Revisions
We provide a 30-day bug-fix warranty post-launch to ensure the software works as intended. Any new feature requests or major design changes outside the original SOW will be billed separately at our standard hourly rate or under a new maintenance contract.
6. Limitation of Liability
While we build 100% secure and scalable architectures, Rattan Verma Web Development shall not be held liable for third-party server downtimes, cyber-attacks originating from compromised client-side credentials, or direct/indirect loss of business profits.
7. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the project with a 15-day written notice if the other party breaches these terms. In the event of cancellation by the client, any upfront deposit is non-refundable, and the client will be billed for all work completed up to the termination date.
